Shift:
Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, some Saturdays 7am-12:30pm Pay rate: $16 an hour with a $250 weekly bonus for good attendance
Location:
Ogden, UT Must have a completely clean background with no misdemeanors or felonies.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy lumber yard. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to unload box trucks , move lumber and other building materials, and ensure safe and efficient handling of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to unload materials from box trucks Transport lumber and building materials to designated storage areas within the yard Inspect incoming loads for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation Stack and organize materials in a safe, accessible, and orderly manner Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Assist with general yard duties as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift (minimum 1 year preferred) Must have a completely clean background with no misdemeanors or felonies.
