Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, cherry pickers, Turrett and clamp trucks to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and materials handling procedures. Candidates with warehouse management system experience and OSHA certification are highly preferred. The position involves heavy lifting, order picking, shipping and receiving tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment to support our logistics and distribution needs. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes to load and unload goods safely and efficiently Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and production lines Assist with inventory management through proper materials handling and documentation Maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations during all operations Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning Ensure all operations adhere to safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and construction site practices Experience Previous experience operating forklifts, order pickers, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
