Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Reach Lift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate high-reach forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations, timely shipping and receiving, and optimal inventory management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-functioning logistics environment while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills. Duties Safely operate reach forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse Conduct order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping orders accurately and efficiently Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring proper placement of materials for easy access and safe storage Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for materials handling, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper storage procedures Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize inventory flow and improve overall warehouse operations Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse setting Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach lifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations and heavy equipment use Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory control Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes is highly desirable Warehouse or construction background is a plus for understanding materials handling techniques Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
