The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with a strong focus on operating ROLL clamp trucks and other heavy equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and order picking processes within our facility. Duties Operate roll clamp forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Utilize pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment as needed for heavy lifting tasks. Support the warehouse management system by accurately documenting inventory movements. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking and shipping & receiving. Familiarity with roll clamp trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment operation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to all safety protocols. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is essential. A background in construction or related fields may be beneficial.
