Night Shift HOURS:
4PM-4:00AM 1st Week- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday 2nd Week- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Join our dynamic distribution warehouse team as a Forklift Operator! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our materials handling operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and warehouse management will help us maintain a smooth flow of inventory, support shipping and receiving activities, and uphold safety standards. Duties Safely operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using pick techniques and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting for damages, and ensuring proper documentation. Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure all heavy equipment remains in optimal condition. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stacking pallets, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Support warehouse supervision by adhering to OSHA safety standards, participating in safety audits, and following best practices for materials handling. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs or identify maintenance needs. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations or warehouse distribution environments is preferred.
