Heavy Forklift Operator :
Operate heavy-duty industrial forklifts rated up to 18 tons safely within a fast-paced steel yard. Load, unload, and stage exceptionally long and heavy structural steel beams and plates. Maneuver high-capacity freight smoothly near active fabrication lines and shipping docks. Coordinate loading efforts with crane operators and execute vehicle pre-operation safety checks. Maintain high situational awareness and follow all core plant safety guidelines strictly. Details for

$20.00•$26.00 / hour (DOE).
Schedule:
Monday•Friday |
Swing Shift:
5:30 PM•2:00 AM.

Position Type:
Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire. Requirements for
Heavy Forklift Operator:
Prior verifiable experience operating large, high-capacity forklifts (up to 18 tons) required. Proven background handling long, heavy industrial products safely in a warehouse or mill. Ability to handle heavy manual shop labor and lift 50-75 lbs without assistance. Must supply and wear steel-toed boots daily on the active production floor. Must hold a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
