Job Description
Vander Griend Lumber is seeking to add a forklift driver/load builder to its operations team. Duties would include stocking merchandise, loading and unloading trucks, staging orders for shipment, assisting customers, keeping a clean work area, assisting in deliveries, and helping other staff members as directed. Previous experience is desired but we are willing to consider and train candidates with a desire to work hard, serve others, learn and grow. This is an introductory position at a company that promotes from within and has many long term employees. Many members of the company leadership have started in this position. Vander Griend Lumber offers an extensive benefit package to its full time employees. Wage depends on experience. Standard work week is currently Monday- Friday and one Saturday morning per month.
