Job Description

Charity Foundation Intern Masonicare Charity Foundation - Wallingford, CT Day Shift / 30hrs/wk The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut supports the mission of Masonicare by raising funds to enhance the quality of life of those served by Connecticut's leading not-for-profit provider of senior healthcare and retirement living. Our work is made possible through the generosity of donors who care deeply about improving the quality of life for aging adults within our communities and across our state.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with donor database management and data entry (Blackbaud/CRM experience is a plus) Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and donor events Prepare donor acknowledgment letters and other correspondence Conduct prospect research to identify potential individual and corporate donors Help manage social media and email communications related to fundraising Assist in creating fundraising materials, including flyers, mailers, and reports Attend and provide support at Foundation events (if applicable) Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Key Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Organized, reliable, and able to work independently with attention to detail Interest in philanthropy, senior services, or healthcare nonprofit work Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Education:
College experience; degree not required

Work in nonprofit/fundraising in a volunteer capacity
