This role is vital in developing strategic fundraising initiatives, managing donor databases, and enhancing our public relations to ensure sustained support for our mission. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nonprofit management, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to expanding our fundraising footprint. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact while working within a dynamic team committed to social change. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals, including annual campaigns, special events, and major gift initiatives. Manage and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized engagement, stewardship activities, and regular communication. Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events that maximize participation and donations while ensuring smooth operations from planning to post-event follow-up. Oversee digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media posts, and website content updates to boost visibility and engagement. Conduct research on potential funding sources, market trends, and community needs to inform strategic planning efforts. Collaborate with teams on public relations initiatives that enhance the organization's reputation and outreach efforts across multiple channels. Manage budgets for fundraising activities and events to ensure cost-effective use of resources while achieving revenue targets. Maintain accurate records of donor contributions, estate planning documents such as wills or trusts when applicable, and volunteer management data to support ongoing relationship building. Skills Experience in event planning and events management to deliver memorable experiences that foster donor loyalty. Strong communication skills to secure sponsorships, partnerships or funding agreements beneficial to the organization. Ability to conduct thorough research on potential donors, community needs, and funding opportunities to inform strategic planning. Skilled in public relations tactics that promote the organization's mission through media outreach and community engagement initiatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in budgeting and data management.
