Job Description
Manager of Annual Giving The Ursuline School seeks a strategic and relationship-driven Manager of Annual Giving to join its Advancement team. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this individual will lead the planning, execution, and growth of the school's Annual Fund and parent giving initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-oriented professional who can effectively engage alumnae, parents, past parents, faculty, staff, and friends in support of the school's mission through thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement multi-channel campaigns (mail, email, digital, phone) to achieve participation and revenue goals. Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors through personalized outreach, visits, and events. Maintain accurate donor records, analyze giving trends, and generate reports to inform strategy. Plan donor recognition activities, coordinate volunteer engagement, and support fundraising events, including Day of Giving, Crowds4 TUS, Ursuline's one-day giving event, and other parent fundraisers. Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues, including the President, Principal, Admissions, and Marketing & Communications teams, to advance fundraising priorities. Attend approximately 10-12 evening or weekend school events annually. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of fundraising experience, preferably in independent schools, higher education, or nonprofit settings. Demonstrated success in annual fundraising and growing donor participation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make a compelling case for support to current and prospective donors. Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with donor databases such as Raisers Edge, GiveSmart or similar database systems preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
