- Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Resource Development to lead our organization's fundraising and relationship-building efforts.
In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to secure vital funding, cultivate enduring partnerships, and enhance our visibility within the community. Your leadership will drive innovative campaigns, oversee donor engagement initiatives, and ensure the sustainability of our mission through effective resource development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by expanding our support base and strengthening our organizational capacity. Key Responsibilities Design and implement strategic fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals, utilizing data collection and research to identify new opportunities. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events that engage donors, volunteers, and community partners. Manage relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized communication, stewardship activities, and regular updates via email marketing platform, Constant Contact. Draft compelling proposals for sponsorships and major gifts. Utilize CRM software, Charity Proud, to track donor information, analyze giving patterns, and generate reports to inform strategy. Develop compelling digital marketing campaigns across social media channels and maintain the organization's WordPress website to boost visibility. Coordinate initiatives to promote Habitat's planned giving and recurring donor programs. Collaborate with internal teams on public relations strategies to enhance the organization's profile within the community. Manage budgets for resource development activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Experience Proven success in nonprofit management or resource development roles with a strong background in fundraising and donor relations. Extensive experience with event planning, events management, and digital marketing strategies tailored for nonprofit organizations. Proficiency in CRM software, Constant Contact, and WordPress for data collection, marketing automation, and database management. Demonstrated ability in relationship management with diverse stakeholders including donors, volunteers, and community partners.
