Position Overview:

This is a flexible, can be part-time in order to attract a committed and experienced individual. OptimALL Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students with disabilities in Catholic and nonpublic schools. We aim to create inclusive educational environments that empower every student to thrive. We are seeking a passionate and driven Director of Development to lead our fundraising initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proven track record in grant writing and donor relations, and marketing expertise to enhance our visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including grants, individual donations, and annual giving campaigns.

Grant Writing:

Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding from foundations and government sources.

Donor Relations:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, fostering a culture of philanthropy within the organization.

Social Media & Marketing:

Develop and execute a marketing plan that leverages social media and other channels to raise awareness and drive engagement.

Reporting & Evaluation:

Track fundraising progress and prepare reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the board and staff to align fundraising efforts with the organization's mission and goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in nonprofit development, including grant writing and individual donor cultivation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong marketing skills, particularly in social media strategy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for supporting students with disabilities and a commitment to our mission. 3 to 5 years of experience in Development is a must Familiarity with fundraising software and donor management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in education or disability services. Familiarity with fundraising software and donor management systems.

Salary Range:

$30,000 to $60,000, depending on experience and availability
