Serving over 1,100 students across 22 program sites in Stark County, the organization offers School-Based Programs and Community-Based Programs focusing on Social-Emotional Learning and the 40 Developmental Assets set by SEARCH Institute.

Position Summary The Development Manager will play a key role in advancing the organization's fundraising strategy while working closely with the Director of Development. This position is designed as a succession-track role with the opportunity to advance into a Director of Development position. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Director of Development to create and execute annual fundraising strategy Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level and major donors Lead sponsorship development for events and organizational initiatives Plan and oversee fundraising events, including cultivation and stewardship strategies Utilize and optimize CRM systems for donor tracking, reporting, and communications Develop donor engagement strategies, including campaigns, appeals, and stewardship plans Analyze fundraising data to improve donor retention and giving levels Assist in board engagement and fundraising efforts Supervise or collaborate with volunteers and/or development staff as needed Qualifications 2+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience Demonstrated success in major gifts, sponsorships, and donor cultivation Experience managing fundraising events Strong proficiency with CRM systems Strategic thinker with leadership potential Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Bachelor's degree required (relevant field preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with nonprofit boards Experience in donor development and major fundraising initiatives Supervisory or leadership experience Experience in Grant writing and reporting Salary Range (Ohio) $50,000-$65,000 annually , depending on experience Potential for performance-based bonuses or incentives Growth Opportunity This role is intentionally designed to transition into the Director of Development position, contingent on performance and organizational needs.
