Development Strategist The Village Foundation Lees Summit, MO Job Details Part-time From $500 a month 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Research Full Job Description The Village Foundation is an emerging nonprofit focused on strengthening families through scholarships, support groups, parenting resources, and community-centered programs. We are seeking a part-time Founding Development Strategist to help build the fundraising and partnership foundation of the organization from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about meaningful community impact and excited by the opportunity to help shape and grow an organization in its early stages. Responsibilities Help develop and implement fundraising strategy Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners Assist with sponsorship outreach and fundraising campaigns Research grant opportunities and funding sources Support donor communication and stewardship efforts Collaborate on long-term growth and development planning Qualifications Experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, partnerships, or related nonprofit work Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organized, self-directed, and collaborative Comfortable working in a startup-style environment Passion for strengthening families and communities Position Details Part-time, approximately 5-10 flexible hours per week initially Kansas City area required Flexible hybrid structure with a combination of remote work and occasional in-person meetings/events $500 per month stipend plus regular milestone bonuses.
