Heartwood Soundstage Heartwood is a premier music venue with a 160 cap indoor stage, a 2,000 cap outdoor stage, and a bar. Job Summary This position is responsible for overseeing the Friends of Heartwood membership program, seeking out and managing corporate sponsorships and donors, grant research, and some grant writing. The ideal candidate will love music and community and have experience in donor stewardship, fundraising, sponsor management, and grant writing. Duties Manage Friends of Heartwood membership program Seek out and recruit new members, sponsors, and donors to support programming Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet organizational goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. Utilize CRM software in our ticketing platform, Opendate. Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities. Prepare reports on fundraising activities and outcomes for board meetings. Collaborate with other departments to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals. Preferred Experience Experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or a related field. Background in grant writing and grant research. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. University degree. Ability to identify trends in fundraising and donor engagement.
