We are one of Maryland's leading behavioral and mental health organizations, providing crisis response services, mobile crisis teams, peer recovery support, care coordination, outpatient behavioral health programs, and community-based services across the state. As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate and relationship-driven Director of Development & Fundraising to help expand our philanthropic footprint and strengthen the future of our mission.

This is more than a fundraising role — it's an opportunity to help build meaningful partnerships, connect communities to a life-saving mission, and create lasting impact for individuals and families across Maryland.

What You'll DoAs the Director of Development & Fundraising, you'll work closely with executive leadership, board members, donors, foundations, and community partners to grow philanthropic support and advance Santé's mission.

You will:

• Lead and support fundraising initiatives including donor engagement, sponsorships, grants, annual giving, and special events
• Build meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community stakeholders
• Help grow Santé's unrestricted and privately contributed funding streams
• Collaborate with executive leadership and board members on fundraising strategy and donor engagement
• Support donor stewardship efforts through thoughtful communication, storytelling, impact reporting, and relationship-building
• Partner with external marketing and communications vendors to align fundraising campaigns and organizational messaging
• Represent Santé at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings
• Help identify new opportunities for community partnerships and philanthropic growth
• Support fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation events, and organizational visibility efforts across MarylandWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is both strategic and people-centered — someone who enjoys building authentic relationships, communicating mission impact, and helping organizations grow through community support.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, sponsorships, grants, or community engagement experience
• Experience building relationships with donors, corporate partners, foundations, or community organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell compelling mission-driven stories
• Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, community partnerships, or development initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with donor CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar platforms
• Behavioral health, healthcare, nonprofit, social services, or mission-driven experience strongly preferred
• CFRE certification is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join Santé?
