- $25 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Social media platforms Decision making Prospecting Full Job Description The Development Associate is responsible for supporting the execution of HAAM's development plans through logistical and tactical implementation of fundraising events, volunteer support and donor engagement initiatives.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM/Database Management Work closely with Development Manager, CDO. and finance manager to ensure timely and accurate capture of gifts and pledges in HAAM donor CRM. Track and manage the prospective donor pool to monitor program results. Manages gift acknowledgement process. Prepares various tracking reports to achieve individual and major gift revenue goals including but not limited to lapsed donor, new donor, birthday, cultivation lists. Coordinates CRM training for HAAM staff as needed. HAAMbassador Program Management Confirms and manages volunteer support for all HAAM signature fundraising Events/Campaign (HAAM Day Music Festival, Corporate Battle of the Bands, Ray Benson Birthday). Confirms and manages volunteer support for all Pearl Society related events. Confirms and manages volunteer support for all Community Led Events. Supports stewardship needs for individual donor cultivation as directed. Manages volunteer database. Manages and executes Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event. Supports logistic needs of major special events as needed. Supports tactical execution of event needs including sponsor and donor outreach, and coordinating with event vendors. Performs other duties as assigned. Donor Cultivation and Engagement Works with Development Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator to support Pearl Society events and engagement with Pearl Society donors. Develops relationships with prospects and donors through communication strategies and consistent stewardship. Creates and analyzes reports related to development. Works withCEO & CDO
to generate Annual Fund mailing and other mailings as needed. Provides initial outreach to lapsed donors for renewal or updating of giving information. Additional Responsibilities and Requirements Ability to work protracted or irregular hours Ability to drive personal or agency vehicle for agency business and to maintain vehicle liability insurance. Experience and Skill Requirements Must support the Core Values and Mission of HAAM. Approaches daily work with enthusiasm and passion. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Demonstrates clear understanding of basic non profit fundraising skills, donor relations and prospect research. Possesses a collaborative, team oriented spirit and willing to pitch in to help with any task needed. Must be proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Mail, Dropbox, Google Drive and social media platforms. Ability to make decisions and manage projects in a changing and fast paced environment and anticipate future needs, even when limited information and resources are available. Always flexible to change. Ability to remain poised under pressure. Demonstrates a positive and "Yes" attitude while always striving to improve or make things better. Willingness to take ownership of projects. Ability to work well and be comfortable with a wide range of people at levels ranging from top CEO's to community volunteers and local musicians.Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate college degree or minimum 2 years experience with fundraising, marketing, and/or communications. Experience in these areas with a non profit organization preferred.
