Job Description
Greenville Christian School is seeking an experienced, relational, and highly organized Development Director to help lead the next season of growth and excellence at our school. This is more than a fundraising position. It is a leadership role focused on building meaningful relationships, strengthening donor engagement, coordinating strategic marketing efforts, managing communications and website content, and helping advance the future of the school through philanthropy, storytelling, and community connection. The ideal candidate is both visionary and detail-oriented — someone who can inspire support, steward relationships well, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively with school leadership, volunteers, and the Philanthropy Committee. Qualifications Experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit advancement, marketing, communications, or related field Strong relational and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong administrative and organizational capacity Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, volunteers, committees, and donors Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Self-motivated with strong follow-through and attention to detail
