Non-Profit Development Director

Duties Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals, including major gift campaigns, grants, and special events. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders through personalized engagement and strategic communication. Lead proposal writing efforts for grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities to secure financial support. Oversee event planning and management for fundraising events, community outreach initiatives, and awareness campaigns. Manage digital marketing efforts utilizing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media channels to increase visibility and engagement. Utilize CRM software like to track donor data, analyze trends, and inform strategic decision-making. Coordinate data collection and research activities to identify new funding sources, evaluate program impact, and refine outreach strategies. Supervise volunteer management programs and oversee budget planning for development activities. Collaborate with legal professionals on estate planning matters such as wills and trusts to facilitate planned giving initiatives. Skills Proven experience in nonprofit management with a focus on fundraising, relationship management, and strategic planning. Strong event planning skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Expertise in digital marketing tools including Constant Contact, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media management platforms. Excellent proposal writing skills coupled with negotiation abilities to secure grants and sponsorships. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge for data management and reporting purposes. Knowledge of Wills, Trusts & Estate Law relevant to planned giving programs; estate planning experience is a plus. Ability to conduct research on funding opportunities while leveraging databases for targeted outreach. Experience in volunteer management along with skills in public relations and community engagement strategies. Strong budgeting skills paired with the ability to develop sustainable fundraising models aligned with organizational growth goals.
