Job Description:
MRA is assisting one of its members in a confidential search for a Development Coordinator. This position will be located in Milwaukee, WI. A respected nonprofit organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support fundraising operations, donor engagement, and development activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining donor relationships, supporting fundraising initiatives, managing donor records, and assisting with special events and campaigns. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting mission-driven work. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain donor and constituent databases Process donations, acknowledgments, and donor correspondence Prepare fundraising materials, reports, mailing lists,and communications Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and donor stewardship activities Assist with donor research and grant-related administrative support Coordinate memorial and tribute giving programs Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing,mailings, and record keeping Assist with fundraising and special event logistics and onsite support Generate reports and analyze donor and fundraising data Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit administration Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with donor databases such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently as well as collaboratively Experience in nonprofit development operations strongly preferred Preferred Attributes Professional,dependable, and customer-service oriented Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively Comfortable interacting with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys meaningful work and contributing to the success of a mission-focused organization.
