Gift Planning Summary:

Builds relationships with advisors, donors, prospects, and volunteers to deepen their loyalty and encourage higher levels of support and involvement. Leads assigned development programs and collaborates across the Arkansas Children's Foundation team to execute strategies and tactics to meet current and future business needs. Ideal Candidate Profile —
Preferred Experience:
Proven experience in gift planning, estate planning, or related fundraising; working knowledge of bequests, beneficiary designations, charitable gift annuities, and other common vehicles Understanding of basic tax implications and planned giving strategies; ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, donor-friendly language Skilled in identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors interested in legacy and blended gifts, with a track record of building a strong planned giving pipeline. Ability to work closely with major gift officers, mid-level team, and leadership to identify, qualify, and advance planned giving opportunities Experience supporting outreach and marketing efforts to promote a legacy giving program. Demonstrated success in engaging and managing members of a legacy or planned giving society. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to provide subject matter expertise that strengthens long-term philanthropic sustainability. Commitment to advancing a mission-driven organization focused on children's health and future generations. Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred.

Recommended Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required Work Experience:
10 years of related experience with a HS diploma/GED; or 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Manages assigned donor, program and/or volunteer portfolio and executes discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. 2. Solicits donors and prospects for gifts to advance the mission of Arkansas Children's. 3. Stewards and recognizes donors and volunteers for their investments of time and resources. 4. Leads assigned development programs and collaborates across the Foundation team to execute strategies and tactics to achieve individual and programmatic results. 5. Supervises staff, completes projects and other duties as assigned. 6. Remains current on Arkansas Children's funding priorities and development trends and best practices. 7. Drives an owned, leased, or personal vehicle frequently in the performance of essential job functions.
