Job Description
Position Summary:
The AI Grant Partnership Coordinator is responsible for supporting the AI-Powered Success initiative by working closely with department staff and external partners to promote the grant initiatives, including coordinating program initiatives and workshops with K-12 and Industry AI Taskforce partners, facilitating co-design curriculum sessions, and ensuring that AI literacy expectations are aligned across the regional education and workforce pipeline.Essential Functions:

Within the scope of college policies and procedures, this position: K-12 andIndustry Partnership Coordination:
Serves as the primary liaison for the AI Grant initiative between the college and regional K-12 school districts, workforce partners, and industry stakeholders Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with district leaders, educators, and employer partners Coordinates and facilitates the K-12 and Industry AI Taskforce, including meeting planning, logistics, and follow-up Represents the college at regional K-12, workforce, and community meetings aligned with grant objectives as assignedCo-Design Curriculum Development:
Facilitates Co-Design collaboration sessions involving K-12 educators, college staff, and industry partners to develop AI literacy frameworks and curriculum Supports the translation of national and global AI literacy frameworks into locally relevant, developmentally appropriate benchmarks Coordinates with project team members to ensure alignment with grant deliverables and OER standardsGrant Coordination and Reporting:
Manages scheduling, logistics, and communications for partnership activities, including site visits across the district Supports data collection and documentation for federal reporting, including participant tracking and outcomes Maintains records in compliance with federal guidelines and institutional policies, including partnership agreements, MOUs, and task force participation recordsCommunity and Regional Engagement:
Promotes the AI-Powered Success initiative across K-12, workforce, and community networks Identifies and cultivates new partnership opportunities aligned with grant goals Contributes to documentation and dissemination of project outcomes, including the Rural AI Playbook Performs other related duties as assignedGeneral Expectations:

Employees will follow all college policies, rules, regulations and guidelines as they relate to this position.Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or a related field from an institution accredited by an institutional accrediting body of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education Three years of related, professional experience Valid state issued driver's license and ability to be insured by college's insurance An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be consideredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of K-12 educational systems, curriculum development processes, and district partnership structures in rural Arizona Knowledge of regional workforce development needs and employer expectations in Cochise County and southeastern Arizona Knowledge of AI literacy concepts, responsible AI use, and emerging technology trends relevant to education and workforce preparation Knowledge of federal grant compliance requirements, including 2 CFR 200, as they relate to partnership and stakeholder coordination Knowledge of and ability to follow college policies and procedures Ability to build and sustain trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including K-12 administrators, classroom teachers, industry representatives, and college personnel Ability to facilitate collaborative meetings and co-design sessions with multi-stakeholder groups Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to represent the college professionally Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple concurrent partnership relationships and project timelines Ability to travel to partner school districts, employer sites, and community locations across Cochise County Skill in using standard office and communication tools including Microsoft 365, video conferencing platforms (Zoom), and collaborative document platforms Skill in working cross-functionally with faculty, instructional designers, and grant staff in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated existing relationships with Cochise County school districts and/or regional employers strongly preferred Prior experience in grant-funded programs or federal compliance environments preferredWork Environment :
Work is performed under limited supervision in an office and community setting. Evening work and in-district travel is required.Physical Requirements:
Essential functions of this position require: lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate, and ability to drive to off-campus locations.Sedentary light work:
exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Involves sitting, walking, and standing as required by field-based activities.Mental Application:
