Donor Relationship Management:
Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of current and prospective major donors through personal visits, calls, written communication, and ongoing engagement. 20%Fundraising Strategy & Solicitation:
Develops individualized giving strategies, prepares proposals, coordinates asks, and secures major gifts in support of operations, programming, special campaigns, and planned giving opportunities. 10%Prospect Research & Pipeline Development:
Researches and qualifies new donor prospects, expands the major gifts pipeline, and analyzes giving trends to maximize fundraising opportunities. 10%Collaboration & Leadership Support:
Partners with, development staff, and volunteers to coordinate donor outreach, events, and strategic fundraising efforts. 10%
Administration & Reporting:
Maintains accurate donor records, tracks activity in CRM systems, prepares reports, monitors progress toward revenue goals, and ensures timely stewardship follow up. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, communications or related field and two years of experience assisting with and/or coordinating various fundraising campaigns and activities. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Minimum of three (3) years of successful major gift fundraising, development, sales, or relationship management experience. B. Proven track record of cultivating, soliciting, and closing significant gifts for a nonprofit organization C. Four (4) years working in a nonprofit organization D. Two (2) years CRM software experience preferably Raiser's Edge E. One (1) year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years. Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations. May require numerous evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs.
