We have various offices throughout Southern California, providing a modern, safe, and relaxed office setting with opportunities for growth in a lively atmosphere. Position Summary The Grants Writer/Executive Assistant is a mid-level, dual-focus role responsible for supporting the organization's funding strategy and executive operations. This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with experience in grant writing or coordination and high-level administrative support. The Grants Writer/Executive Assistant will work closely with leadership to ensure grant deadlines are met, applications are well-prepared, and day-to-day executive functions run smoothly. This role is central to the operational success of Self Determined Futures LLC and its mission to serve neurodivergent individuals across Southern California. Key Responsibilities Grants Support Review RFPs and grant applications to identify key requirements, deadlines, and submission materials. Assist with organizing and compiling grant attachments and supporting documents. Help complete basic grant application components and provide support with application outlines. Maintain an organized grants calendar and track submission deadlines and reporting due dates. Support grant program activities, webinars, and related funder engagement events. Maintain a digital filing system for proposals, awards, reports, and funder correspondence. Input and track grant data in CRM or grants management systems. Executive Assistant Support Book travel, coordinate itineraries, and manage logistics for the CEO. Prepare and distribute daily summaries, briefing materials, and key updates. Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, and appointments across multiple stakeholders. Draft, proofread, and format professional correspondence, reports, and presentations. Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of leadership. Project & Organizational Support Support fundraising events, client convenings, and program-related activities as needed. Assist with preparation of materials for funder meetings, site visits, and presentations. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong prioritization in a fast-moving environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, English, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit support, grants coordination, or administrative/EA roles. Knowledge of grant application processes and nonprofit funding processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and client deadlines simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or grants management tools is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Prior executive assistant or high-level administrative support experience preferred. Experience working with and/or deep commitment to BIPOC, Disability, and/or LGBTQ+ communities strongly preferred.
