Exemption Type Exempt Education Bachelor's Degree Job Description Receive and review information provided by management to prepare Position Description (PD) based on available information sources to include: current PDs, organization charts, mission, and function statements, supplemented by desk audits and supervisory interviews. Evaluate existing PDs using Office of Personnel Management (OPM) position classification standards, principles, and methodology to determine the appropriate titles, series, grades, and prepare adequate evaluation statements to document findings. Refer all General Schedule (GS) -13 and above position descriptions to Agency for review before beginning any staffing and recruitment work. Provide technical classification assistance to supervisors and managers on position management and job content options to properly support mission needs. Job Requirements Must have a minimum of five (5) years of Federal Government experience writing PDs and providing position management advisory services.
