Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute and Wolfson Children's Hospital. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and professional development initiatives for team members across the health system. This role focuses on transition to practice for new graduates and experienced nurses, fosters workplace learning through evidence-based strategies, and applies adult learning principles to meet the diverse needs of clinical teams. The position will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure continuous professional growth and improve patient care outcomes.
Education Note:
Master's degree in nursing required within 24 months of hire.
Certification Note:
At least one Baptist Health approved certification is required for this role. NPD certification is highly encouraged within 3 years of hire.
Experience:
Over 5 years' Experience in NICU Required Over 5 years' Experience in an
Acute Care Setting Required Leadership Experience Preferred Learning and Development Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Nursing Professional Development - Board Certified (NPD-BC)
Preferred Licensed Registered Nurse Required Primary Location:
