The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. The Prevention Specialist provides group counseling for clients in the Too Good for Drugs program or other applicable initiatives. This role involves maintaining accurate client records, coordinating with social service agencies, and participating in staff development and case consultations. Why joinCFCE:

Conduct group sessions. Maintain updated files on each child. Make necessary contact with other social service agencies for follow-up and treatment. Complete all cases closing and follow-up obligations. Attend in-service training courses. Attend case consultation sessions. Attend general staff meetings. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) Certified Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical service coordination or linkage Skills Needed Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments and decisions Strong communication and presentation skills Access to a well maintained vehicle, valid auto insurance, and a current valid Driver's License CFCE is a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.Similar jobs in Miami Gardens, FL
