REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or its equivalent and six (6) years of professional or paraprofessional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, hospitality management, nutrition, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, hospitality management, nutrition, leisure services or communications and two (2) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, hospitality management, nutrition, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or A master's degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and one (1) year of professional experience as described above. Requires possession of a valid Driver's License.

JOB DUTIES
Recruit members into the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Membership Program by attending ag industry tradeshows, conferences, and meetings throughout the state. Liaison with the Florida Farm Bureau. Plan and manage sponsorships with agriculture industry organizations and associations. Process requisitions, manage assets for sponsorship deliverables, and provide SWOT analysis. Assist with industry related contracts, grants and special projects, including the Cattle Enhancement Board. Assist contract manager with routing contracts, and ensuring deliverables and timelines are met. Gather market research and content from other sections to create presentations that feature the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Membership Program and highlight the division's marketing campaign activities. Make presentations to ag industry groups as needed. Assist with member database. Run reports as requested. Enter campaign data into database for industry relations activities, if needed.
