Job Description
Position Summary:
Grant funded position responsible for collaborating with the various departments at the college to support and enhance early childhood and community initiatives. Provide on-site coaching for early childhood programs countywide. Develop lessons to implement in classrooms to enhance learning outcomes. Provide monthly trainings to participants that align to program objectives. Collaborates with staff to develop programming, training, and outreach activities to infusion of developmentally appropriate teaching practices into the classroom. Job Duties Conducts needs assessments to determine community partner needs in training, and to establish goals, objectives, and priorities. Delivers training in one-on-one, small or large group settings. Presents information in a logical, accurate and effective manner. Researches, designs, writes, and produces clear documentation of work and other training materials (print, website, multimedia, and online tutorials) such as course guides, timetables, and exercises. Conducts pre and post evaluations to assess effectiveness of delivery services and content of training sessions and materials. Maintains records and prepares related reports. Organizes, prepares, publicizes, and promotes training schedules Works on-site coaching to support early childhood teachers, providers, and owners to ensure effective implementation of program activities for children ages-birth to 5 years Serves as a resource for program participants in sharing information and appropriate strategies for quality learning Participates in training in small or/and large group settings in the community. Maintains records and prepares related reports to support sustainability grant as requested. Provides support to leadership grant team as needed.Minimum Qualifications:
The position requires at least a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of prior-related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Prefer applicants with knowledge in CHELLO assessment tool andGRTR. CLOSING DATE
