Job Description

Monday-Thursday Schedule | Starting at $25-28/hour DOE | Driggs, Idaho Family Safety Network is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Victim Advocate to join our team in Teton Valley. This position provides trauma-informed advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and related crimes. We are looking for someone who leads with empathy, professionalism, and respect; thrives in a collaborative team environment; and is comfortable working independently while taking ownership of their work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, advocacy, and safety planning Conduct client intakes and connect survivors with community resources and services Assist survivors with housing, legal, medical, financial, and other systems navigation Accompany survivors to court hearings, medical appointments, and advocacy-related meetings as appropriate Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records Participate in the agency's 24-hour hotline rotation (approximately one week per month) Collaborate with community partners and participate in ongoing training and professional development Contribute positively to agency culture and support a healthy, collaborative workplace
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered services Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills Ability to build trust while maintaining healthy professional boundaries Self-motivated, dependable, and highly organized Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage responsibilities independently Commitment to cultural humility and serving diverse populations Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team Experience in advocacy, social services, counseling, healthcare, education, or a related field preferred Bilingual English/Spanish strongly encouraged
