Family and Community Development Specialist

Illinois Valley Economic Development Corp. (IVEDC) is looking to hire a full-time Family & Community Development Specialist. This position will be working in two separate locations with days split between our Jerseyville and Carrollton offices.

Responsibilities:

Will assist individuals in becoming more self-sufficient and will act as an advocate for the low-income within the community. Will be responsible for recruitment and/or completion of applications for various agency-operated programs and case management.

Requirements:

Prefer a Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field. Experience in case management also preferred. Must be able to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This position includes excellent benefits and generous vacation, personal and sick time accruals, as well as 13 paid holidays per year.
