White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Education Specialist, (RN) for our Professional Development and Practice Department, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Education Specialist, ed Nurse (RN), you will:
  • Onboarding/Orientation of newly hired staff
  • Ongoing assessment of competency and evaluation of performance
  • Provision of continuing nursing education
  • Identifies practice gaps and learning needs
  • Develops an appropriate education plan based on professional practice gaps and learning needs
  • Assists nurses in preparation for certification in specialty
  • Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate activities that promote professional role development
  • Performs as nurse planner and provides contact hours for educational offerings
Qualifications Include:
  • BSN or Allied Health degree required
  • MSN/Master preferred
  • 2 years in clinical specialty
  • 1 year in leadership role preferred (includes charge nurse, RT lead, preceptor)
  • RN license or RRT License
  • Certification in clinical specialty or nursing professional development within one year of hire
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken required

          $37.17 - $55.76 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
