Job Description

Rum River Art Center is a non-profit organization located in the north metro of the Twin Cities providing a warm, inspiring environment that embraces individuals of all artistic abilities. We offer a nurturing atmosphere to explore and express the art making process. Fundraiser & Grant Writer Part-Time 10-15 hours/week // Remote and In-Person Responsibilities Donor Relations ○ Maintaining and building on the current system of donor relations. ○ Working in 'Little Green Light' to maintain donor relationships year round. ○ Attend community meetings and cultivate new and current business donor relationships. Fundraising Campaigns ○ Give to the Max, Two Rivers Art Fair, Art Gala. ○ Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to create compelling online campaigns. Grant Writing ○ Sustaining current grant applications (Walmart Sparkgood, Allina Health, Target, MSAB grants). ○ Searching for new grant opportunities based on the organization's current needs. ○ Working collaboratively with other admin to successfully apply for and receive grants. Administrative ○ Take part in community events (Art Fair, Gala) with planning process and day-of execution. ○ Ability to work in-person, occasionally, to collaborate with staff for upcoming opportunities and attend monthly team meetings. Minimum Qualifications
  • Passion and commitment to RRAC's mission
  • Excellence in organizational management
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations
  • Successful experience in writing and applying for grants
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient use of Google Workspace
  • Preferred but not required: experience working with arts organization
WAGE & BENEFITS
  • $23 - $27 hourly wage based on experience
