Job Description

  • Position Summary:

  • will help our clients navigate complex funding landscapes and successfully identify and secure federal, state, and other grant funds. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in applying for and securing grants and have an in-depth knowledge of the grant writing process. This posting is being used to build a
  • talent pipeline
  • for potential future openings across our Federal Funds Management Practice Area.
This opportunity is open only to Independent Contractors at this time; as such, applicants must have an active/registered EIN number to be considered. These positions will be part-time (less than 40 hours per week). While we may not have an immediate opening, we are continuously reviewing applicants and may hire directly from this pool as roles become available, contingent upon client needs.
  • Responsibilities of the
Grant Writer Include:
  • + Collaborate with diverse clients to understand their local priorities, project goals, and funding needs.
+ Conduct research to identify potential funding sources, including grant opportunities, funding trends, and emerging priorities in key industry sectors. + Monitor and track grant funding, ensuring compliance with application and reporting requirements and deadlines. + Evaluate federal and other grant opportunities to determine eligibility and prepare grant overviews to communicate grant application requirements to internal and external stakeholders. + Coordinate with client staff and their grant partners to gather information, data, documentation, letters of support and other back-up materials necessary for grant applications. + Write grant narratives and support documentation that supports a grant application. + Conduct the full range of activities required to prepare and submit timely and compelling grant applications, including developing project narratives, scopes, budgets, schedules, data visualizations, and other project design components. + Perform final quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and validate necessary documentation is included in the application package prior to final approval and submission.
  • Qualifications for the
Grant Writer Include:
  • + Bachelor's degree.
+ At least four (4) years of professional experience focused on grant writing and application development for the public or nonprofit sectors. + Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize relevant data for grant applications. + Familiarity with grant management processes and procedures, including knowledge of laws and regulations governing the administration of federal awards. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).
  • Compensation for the
Grant Writer Includes:
  • + Hourly Range of $40-85.
