Job Description

Cardinal Hayes Home is a non-profit agency serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Full Time Treatment Specialist to join our caring and compassionate team in Millbrook, NY. As a Treatment Specialist, you will implement and monitor developmental goals under the guidance of QIDP, provide regular training and guidance to the direct support staff. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to help transform lives in a caring, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
Full-time (35 hours per week): Tuesday
  • Saturday OR Sunday
  • Thursday OR varied days including alternating weekends What We're Looking For (Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred 3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Valid driver's license Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office and Precision Care preferred What You'll Get (Perks & Benefits): In addition to a rewarding and meaningful career, we offer: Affordable & comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance 403(b) retirement plan Life and disability insurance Paid Time Off What You'll Do As a Treatment Specialist (Responsibilities): Remain current on OPWDD and ICF regulatory changes and updates Demonstrate an understanding of active treatment and skill development needs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Implement and monitor developmental goals Provide hands on support with the residents to ensure knowledge of the overall functioning and achievement Provide training, guidance, mentoring and role modeling to the Direct Support staff, Respond to crisis as needed Attend all interdisciplinary team meetings and provide general feedback to the team Maintain data tracking for submission to the QIDP, BIS, and other disciplines as assigned Visit the schools and day programs monthly Maintain SCIP-R certification and assist in situations as warranted Submit your resume for immediate consideration!
