$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Join Our Compassionate Team! We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Certified Cerpas to join our assisted living community serving seniors in Yonkers. This rewarding role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building meaningful relationships, providing emotional support, and enhancing the quality of life for older adults. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will serve as a trusted companion and advocate for residents, offering encouragement, active listening, social engagement, and support to help seniors maintain their emotional well-being and independence. Responsibilities Build positive, supportive relationships with residents. Provide one-on-one peer support, companionship, and encouragement. Listen with empathy and help residents feel heard, valued, and respected. Help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness through meaningful engagement. Maintain professional documentation and communication as required. Serve as a positive role model while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Qualifications Current Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality. Ability to connect with seniors from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to providing respectful, person-centered support.
