Grant Writer and Resource Development

The Village at Morrisons Cove is currently seeking to hire a full time Grant and Resource Development Coordinator. This position will be responsible for locating and researching applicable grants; creating avenues for potential donations from businesses, fundraising events and private contributors. This position will also be responsible for all social media marketing, including websites related to The Village at Morrisons Cove. The Village at Morrisons Cove is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that offers skilled nursing, personal care, independent living, hospice, home health and home care services. We are a non-profit, stand alone organization rooted in the Church of the Brethren faith. Our mission for caring for older adults in the community began in 1903 and has continued ever since. Key functions of this position will include, but not be limited to: Creating marketing publications Website updates Social media presence Billboards Community marketing events Grant writing Fundraising events Back up for independent living cottage and apartment sales The Grant and Resource Coordinator position is full time, Monday-Friday daylight hours. Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Communications(or related field) and a minimum of 1-3 years experience in marketing or resource development. Creative experience with publications and online media design preferred. Successful candidate must present with a friendly and professional appearance and demeanor.
