Contract Grant Writer (Independent Contractor) Think Dignity - 5.0 San Diego, CA Job Details Contract Up to $600 a month 12 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Corporate giving fundraising Calendar management Nonprofit community organization experience Managing projects Non-profit experience Foundation giving Editing Non-profit organization experience Full Job Description Position Summary Think Dignity is seeking an experienced Contract Grant Writer to identify, develop, write, and submit competitive grant proposals that support the organization's programs, including Dignity Legal Services, the ID Bank, the Transitional Storage Center, and other strategic initiatives. This independent contractor will work closely with the Executive Director and program staff to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Scope of Work Write grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials. Develop grant budgets in collaboration with staff. Submit grant applications by required deadlines. Prepare grant reports for awarded grants. Maintain a grants calendar and funding pipeline. Advise on grant strategy and funding priorities. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of successful nonprofit grant writing experience. Demonstrated track record of securing foundation, corporate, and government grants. Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Experience working with nonprofit organizations. Term This is an independent contractor (1099) position. The contractor is responsible for managing their own schedule and providing the services outlined in the contract while meeting agreed-upon deadlines.

Up to $600.00 per month
