CAREER- Career paths are available in sales, management, and operations throughout the country Professional development and training Team oriented company culture where it's called work for a reason but have fun in the process Join a local team with company backing As a Rubber Products Specialist at Applied Industrial Technologies, you will use your strong customer service and conveyor belt technical skills to train, implement, and execute rubber products marketing programs. You'll spend time interacting with our team of Account Managers and their customers to determine their rubber products / conveyor needs and then help to meet that need. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results! Responsibilities Coordinate conveyor belt /rubber product initiatives with Service Centers and Regional Managers Make rubber product / conveyor belt presentations to both internal associates and customers Conduct training for both internal associates and customers Make joint sales calls with the field sales staff Assist in the development of rubber product / conveyor belt data collection; interchange information, case histories, documented value-added benefits, and application data Partner in setting - and meeting/exceeding - sales target goals and execution Participate in installations and repairs In addition to technical responsibilities, the role encompasses defined business development duties, including fostering client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives. Help roll out new product initiatives with the rubber/conveyor belt product categories. Help develop new vendor relationships as well as strengthen current vendors. Requirements 3+ years of proven technical lightweight conveyor belt sales and service experience OR belt service, fabrication, installation experience Strong aggregate plant knowledge would be preferred Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal Ability to read / understand technical drawings Work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
