  • Impact Latin America Impact Latin America Grant Specialist Job Description IMPACT's Mission Impact Latin America plants God's peace in individuals, homes, and communities by engaging partners to equip Latin American leaders to multiply disciples, leaders and churches.
The Grant Specialist helps to fulfill IMPACT's mission by providing support to the Operations team by administering our grant cycle and assisting in fundraising tasks that impulse the overall work in Latin America. The role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys collaboration, is detail oriented, and aligned with the mission of Impact Latin America. Qualifications Commitment to Christ, His Church, and His Cause; leading and serving out of intimacy with God maintained through spiritual practices both individual and corporate. Cross-cultural competence, valuing people of other races and cultures as equals, willing to relate with and honor diverse peoples and cultures. Experience supporting administrative work, & grant writing. Good relational people skills, comfortable working in a team. Demonstrates strong follow-through on assignments, proactively seeks clarification when needed, and is comfortable working independently while organizing tasks and priorities. Well developed English with both written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze data, financial reports and prepare charts or graphics for grants. Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn and work with IMPACT's CRM software, payment processor, social media, Canva, and website. Working knowledge of Spanish is highly valued. BA degree, preferably, with 2-3 years of experience as a grant writer. Must be within the continental US, must have work authorization. (Priority will be given to qualified candidates in
WA, OR, TX, PA, KY, IN, FL
).
Responsibilities Grant Administration:
Administer the full grant lifecycle from research through reporting. Maintain and manage a centralized grant calendar, including deadlines, submissions and reporting requirements. Research foundations and grant opportunities aligned with our mission. Draft Letters of Inquiry (LOIs), grant applications and supporting materials. Coordinate the internal review and approval process for all submissions. Prepare grant budgets, graphs and metrics in a variety of formats. Work collaboratively with leadership to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals. Maintain organized systems, templates, database and documentation of grant processes. Coordinate tasks and progress of grant writing volunteers and contributors.
Donor Relations Support:
Assists with donor stewardship initiatives as needed.
Cross-Team & Operational Support:
Coordinate regularly with Latin American teams and internal staff to gather information and materials needed to complete general administrative and operational tasks with timely follow-through. Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Working Relationships Reports to:
IMPACT Operations Director. Coordinates with IMPACT's Latin American team and other supporting members. Coordinates the work of other grant volunteers or support staff assisting with grant related projects.
Terms:
This is a part-time, remote, hourly position. Flexible schedule with hours averaging 1-5 hours a week. Availability is needed on some evenings and weekends for fundraising events or other meetings. Schedules will be agreed upon by the hiring manager and the employee. Employees must possess a working computer, and camera to perform work tasks. Employment is on an at-will basis, which means it may be terminated by either the individual or the organization at any time for any reason with no legal consequences. Salary $19-22/HR; payable monthly; no benefits.
