Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, organized, sales driven individual to fill our Assistant Manager position. Someone that has had previous Leasing and Yardi experiece ready to take that next step. This individual is responsible for generating traffic, securing appointments and maximizing rentals, assisting in the total leasing efforts and integrated marketing programs of the property. Also includes administrative duties, resident retention, marketing operations and assistance in monitoring the financial operations to help meet the goals of the property. This person is additionally responsible for providing outstanding customer service and assisting in providing a quality living environment for our residents. Responsibilities Present apartments to prospective residents in a professional manner Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques Accurately record All traffic information daily Provide accurate information on the different features of properties Validate application information and references Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements Keep abreast of the properties market status Present a professional, efficient approach to remedy any customer complaints and handle service requests with appropriate documentation and follow up on a daily basis, to ensure client satisfaction. Responsible for all administrative functions and the correct and timely preparation of all reporting documentation. Prepares rental agreements for residents. Assists in timely collection of rents, banking activities, documentation of all transactions, preparation of collection documents and court appearances. Responsible with Property Manager, for meeting revenue goals, occupancy management as described in the annual operating plan and resident retention. Responsible for firm, fair and consistent administration of all legal company policies and practices. Monitor and direct property administration, ensuring compliance with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting standards. Thoroughly understand property systems and monitor accuracy of reporting. Responsible for resident file documentation, corporate living programs, application and rental documentation and tracking, receipt and timely processing of payables. Skills Proven working experience as a leasing consultant / Assistant Manager Ability to function effectively in a sales / marketing and customer service environment. Proven track record of successful sales Basic Bookkeeping skills Computer proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, e-mail, Yardi, Outlook and the Internet. Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques Customer-focused approach Ability to compute rate, discounts, interest and commissions Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
