Job Description

Objective The Park Assistant Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily park operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and efficient experience for all guests. This position is responsible for supervising team members, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The Park Assistant Manager serves as a primary point of contact for guests, ensuring satisfaction, resolving concerns, and addressing questions. This role requires regular interaction with families and children of all ages. Essential Job Functions Greet and assist guests promptly, creating a welcoming and positive environment. Supervise team members to ensure performance expectations and productivity goals are met. Support the Park Manager with training, development, and operational audits. Foster a collaborative, positive team culture. Review and audit employee schedules; escalate approvals as needed. Open and close the facility using keys and/or security codes. Communicate guest or employee concerns to the Park Manager in a timely manner. Oversee guest check-in processes, including waiver completion and data entry via iPad. Operate the front counter, including cash handling, processing payments (cash/card), and reconciling daily transactions. Ensure accurate billing by verifying POS transactions. Maintain and organize snack and beverage inventory; coordinate restocking with vendors. Conduct routine floor checks to ensure safety standards are upheld and park rules are followed. Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, seating areas, and play structures through regular sanitation. Assist with scheduling and coordinating events to ensure smooth execution. Perform additional duties as assigned. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and fine motor skills. Comfortable working in a loud, high-energy environment. Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Ability to work effectively with children and families. Proficiency using an iPad or similar technology. Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to safety and guest experience. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and write in English.
