In this vital leadership role, you will support store operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales management Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance Handle recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members Manage payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth store functioning during all operating hours Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales Maintain organized inventory management, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment procedures Requirements Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience in a retail or grocery store environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work culture Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and retail management software Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and merchandising Experience with employee orientation, interviewing, training & development, and scheduling Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and store financials Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and store operations Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and sales performance Strong time management skills combined with excellent phone etiquette and customer interaction abilities Join us as an Assistant Manager where your leadership will inspire teams, elevate customer satisfaction, and drive our retail success!
