Position Summary:
As the General Manager of our Micro division, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the business unit by leading a team that is focused on delivering the highest level of customer service and quality that exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and can effectively collaborate, communicate, strategize, problem-solve, and manage a diverse team. This person must be prepared to build out the division and thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance 5-8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience Outgoing personality with the ability to build and maintain a collaborative team environment 3
  • 5 years of experience in the interconnect industry & Mil-Spec knowledge Working knowledge of interconnects, cable assembly components, including wire, contacts, and connectors highly desired Proven track record of implementing change and driving operational improvements Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills Our core values

  • Champion the Winchester culture while creating a strong organization Driving growth in bookings, revenue, Operating Income, FCF, and budget achievements Set a strategy for long-term growth that aligns with the Winchester strategic growth initiatives and is collaborative across business units and with the Winchester regional sales team Strengthen/build your organization around targeting the long-term growth strategy following the delegation of authority (DOA) Identify areas to invest in to support future growth (utilize DOA for CAPEX approval) Establish incentives to reinforce the right behaviors (utilize the DOA for salary/incentive changes) Continually seek ways to improve operational efficiencies and rationalize costs (utilize the DOA for employee actions) Communicate with your team at a cadence that makes expectations and performance clear and that goals are aligned at all levels with the annual goal-setting process Think big, start small, move fast, and always do the right thing, the right way

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $160,000/year
  • $220,000/ year (DOE), plus incentive compensation.
