SUMMARY The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily waterpark operations. This role provides hands-on leadership across all departments, ensures a safe and exceptional guest experience, supports staffing and training efforts, and helps maintain operational, financial, and safety standards. The AGM serves as the acting GM when required and plays a key role in driving teamwork, consistency, and operational excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Direct Oversight:
Aquatics, Park Services, Maintenance, Safety Core operating systems (WhenToWork, UKG, Galaxy, tablets, compliance platforms)Ownership:
Operational processes and SOP standardization Systems and operational infrastructure (scheduling, ticketing, reporting) Digitization of inspections, reporting, and daily operational workflows Operational readiness and asset reliability OpEx and CapEx project visibility and coordinationDecision Authority:
Final authority on safety standards, training, and compliance Ownership of operational processes and SOPs Controls staffing levels and labor deployment in real timeKey KPIs:
Weekly safety scorecard (incidents, claims, training completion) Labor performance and staffing execution Attraction and outlet readiness Maintenance tracking and asset history (e.g., VGB compliance, equipment lifecycle) OpEx/CapEx planning and execution progressQualifications and Experience Required:
3+ years of leadership experience in attractions, waterparks, hospitality, or similar environments. Experience supervising teams in fast-paced, high-volume operations. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety standards, guest service, and basic operational practices. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Preferred or Required Upon Hire:
Certified Pool Operator (CPO). CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. ServSafe/TIPS. Be trained on all park positions and act as trainer for any position. Experience with lifeguard programs (StarGuard Elite, Jeff Ellis & Associates, or similar). Work Environment & Physical Requirements Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Required weekend, evening, and holiday availability. Willingness to travel to other company locations to launch operations. This position may be asked to support multiple locations within the Waterpark district ofLucky Strike Entertainment Who We Are:
