This is a strategic, full-stack role: you'll help set direction on the things that matter most and then roll up your sleeves to make them happen. It is not an assistant job. Be the founder's right hand Sit in on the meetings, decisions, and conversations that shape the company. Build enough context to act on the founder's behalf, and take real work off their plate as you go. Keep the company running Own the operating rhythm. Planning cycles, prep, follow-through, and making sure the things people commit to actually get done. When it's working, nobody notices. That's the point. Solve the problems no one owns The cross-functional messes that don't belong to any one team are yours. Dig in, get to the root of what's going on, drive it to a resolution, and build something that keeps it from coming back. Sharpen how decisions get made Pull together the analyses and briefings the founder and team need to move quickly and well, and improve the internal processes everyone relies on. Who you are Full-stack operator. You love setting the strategy and doing the hands-on work to make it real. Nothing is beneath you. Ridiculously organized. You hold a dozen threads at once and drop none of them. Sharp and analytical. You're comfortable with numbers and have good instincts for the business. A clear communicator. You write and speak well, and people trust what you tell them. High ownership. You don't wait to be told. You see the gap and close it. 2+ years in consulting, banking, an operating role at a high-growth startup, or something comparable. Location San Francisco, in person.
