Direct Placement, Full-Time Job Description Insight Global is partnering with a growing automotive dealership group in the Los Angeles area to hire a General Manager for a Hyundai dealership in Santa Monica. This individual will oversee a newer location and play a key role in building out the team, increasing market presence, and driving long-term success for the store. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who is comfortable working in a smaller, fast-paced dealership group environment. The GM will be responsible for leading the sales organization, developing team structure, and creating a strong foundation for sustained growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily dealership operations across sales and team performance
  • Build and develop a high-performing sales team, including Sales Managers
  • Drive consistent sales growth and increase dealership profitability
  • Partner with executive leadership (COO/ownership) on strategy and execution
  • Implement structure, processes, and accountability across teams
  • Foster a strong, collaborative culture focused on performance and customer service

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership leadership experience
  • Experience as a General Manager, GSM, or similar leadership role
  • Strong background in team building and developing sales organizations
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, smaller group environment
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to motivate and scale teams Experience managing multiple layers of dealership staff (sales managers, reps, etc.
)
Compensation:
$80,000 to $110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
