About the Company Schultz Industrial Services provides industrial maintenance, turnaround, construction, and specialty services to critical energy and industrial infrastructure customers throughout the western United States. About the Role Schultz Industrial Services is seeking an experienced General Manager to support SIPA operations across industrial maintenance, turnaround, and specialty services projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle across multiple projects and customer accounts by providing operational leadership, customer coordination, commercial oversight, and execution support from project planning through closeout. The General Manager will partner closely with operations leadership, business development, estimating, project controls, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with contractual requirements and customer expectations. Responsibilities Operational Leadership Provide operational oversight across multiple industrial maintenance, turnaround, and specialty services projects. Support Site Managers and Superintendents in driving safe, efficient, and productive project execution. Maintain visibility and engagement across assigned projects to ensure alignment with operational goals and customer expectations. Assist with manpower planning, scheduling coordination, resource forecasting, and operational support activities. Promote accountability, communication, and execution consistency across field leadership teams. Safety & Compliance Reinforce and promote a strong safety-first culture across all projects and operations. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards. Support incident prevention efforts, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Participate in project reviews, audits, and operational assessments as needed. Project & Commercial Management Oversee project performance related to safety, quality, cost control, schedule, and customer satisfaction. Review and support administration of customer contracts, work scopes, specifications, and project requirements. Support scope management, contract execution, change management, and change order development. Monitor project financial performance, productivity, forecasting, and KPI reporting. Partner with estimating and operations teams during bid development, planning, and project startup activities. Customer Relations Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and operational stakeholders. Serve as a key point of contact for operational coordination and project support activities. Support customer meetings, planning discussions, job walks, and project reviews. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support long-term customer partnerships. Leadership & Team Development Provide leadership and support to Site Managers, Superintendents, and project teams. Establish clear expectations, operational structure, and accountability across assigned operations. Support employee development, mentoring, and leadership growth within field operations. Promote professionalism, teamwork, and customer-focused execution throughout the organization. Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing or overseeing industrial construction, maintenance, turnaround, or specialty services operations. Experience supporting industrial services such as scaffolding, insulation, coatings, soft craft, or related disciplines preferred. Strong understanding of industrial project execution, operational planning, scheduling, and customer coordination. Knowledge of contract administration, change management, project controls, and job cost management. Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and support field leadership teams in fast-paced industrial environments. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers, operations leadership, and field personnel. Proficient with Microsoft Office and project reporting systems. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned region. Preferred Skills and Competencies Experience supporting refinery, petrochemical, power, or heavy industrial customers. Experience with turnaround and outage planning/execution. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
