Job Description At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's Marketing Team is seeking a Regional Alliance Lead in Woodland, CA.
Accountabilities:
Prepare business cases to support the collaboration with the selected companies in coordination with RCL and HPA. Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and pursue potential partnerships and licensing opportunities that align with the company's goals and objectives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as potential partners, licensors, and internal teams. Negotiate and finalize partnership and licensing agreements, ensuring that they are mutually beneficial and meet the company's needs. Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships and licensing agreements, making adjustments as needed to ensure their continued success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the partnership or licensing agreement are executed effectively. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to partnerships and licensing, and use that knowledge to inform strategy and decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or quantitative field required; Master's degree (MBA, Marketing, or related) preferred. 5+ years in Marketing, Sales, Strategy, or Commercial roles with proven leadership in digital transformation, process automation, and strategic planning. Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate potential strategic partners and licensing opportunities, negotiate deals, and manage partner relationships. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to partnerships and licensing agreements. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Deep knowledge of the industry and market trends related to the company's products and services. Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior executives, partners, and customers. Strategic thinking with ability to develop and execute plans for portfolio expansion through partnerships and licensing. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitive landscape, and financial data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions. Leadership capability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Additional Information Salary for this position ranges between $124,000 - $200,000 annually.
