Job Description

Are you a self-motivated positive individual looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Marijuana Industry? We are looking for a reliable, dynamic individual to be our Assistant General Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides strategic direction and leadership to the retail organization, with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs, as well as anticipating future needs.
  • Performs a significant role in defining objectives, strategies and plans, and working with the staff and business partners to implement those plans.
  • Maximizes retail productivity, sales and profit, while ensuring that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.
  • Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and maintain best-in-class practices.
  • Identifies trends and opportunities to define changes in process and procedures that drive operations and selling agendas. Proactively collects customer feedback and uses it to implement new product offerings.
  • Provides financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting, including full responsibility over the dispensary.
  • Creates an environment in which a personal, customer-focused, and service-oriented mentality is standard.
  • Ensure dispensary and personnel are in compliance with State and Local regulations, in all operations, processes, inventory management and protocol.
  • Partners with internal teams to ensure product and store allocations provide a cohesive strategy and brand experience to drive sales revenue opportunities.
  • Develops training and reinforces service, product, operations, and management expectations through training and development of store teams.
  • Ensures operational priorities, processes, and procedures are communicated, understood, and executed consistently across all locations.
  • Provide all required reporting to Management
  • Develop and overseeing all marketing plans and platforms
  • Ensure all daily operations goals and objectives are achieved
Positional Duties:
  • Hiring, training, developing, and motivating the team
  • Provide staff with regular performance reviews and address employee performance issues as needed
  • Leading and promoting excellent customer service through coaching, role modeling, and utilizing customer feedback to reinforce and improve quality of service
  • Driving store-level financial and operational results
  • Managing inventory levels through product orders and inventory reconciliation
  • Overseeing the store's online presence: social media, online menu, marketing
  • Counting cash drawers, finalizing daily deposits, and cash reconciliation
  • Monitoring daily sales and uploading sales reports to Metrc
  • Ensuring customer feedback and concerns are addressed within a timely manner
  • Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of store's interior and exterior
  • Protecting store assets, facilities, and team members by ensuring all team members' adherence to operational guidelines and standards, compliance with all safety and security policies, and through proper functioning and maintenance of store equipment
  • Maintaining current and accurate business, legal, and personnel records and store resource materials
  • Overseeing all training programs within the store and providing guidance, direction, and support so team members are ready to perform in their roles
  • Participating in Community Engagement and outreach
  • Creating and monitoring staff work-schedule Education/Experience
  • Five plus years in Cannabis Management
  • Financial Background
Retail Background Starting Salary:
$70,000.00 annually
Fulltime:
45 hours minimum
Shift:
Primarily day shift, with evening/weekend availability if needed
